Injury Report

Connor Mantz’s 2025 season was one to remember, after he set American records in both the marathon and half marathon events. Alas, his year doesn’t end on a good note…
Severity: Mantz apparently has injured himself, which has forced him to take an unexpected halt in his training. And for this reason, he’ll also be missing the 2025 USA Cross Country Championships. Mantz is now the third after Grant Fisher and Cole Hocker to have withdrawn from this event.
Official Statement: “I was too excited to get back to training after the Chicago Marathon, an unfortunately I will be pulling out due to an injury. I’m bummed to not be competing in two weeks, but excited for the team the US puts together.”
