No Swiss athlete has ever been crowned the women’s European Athlete of the Year since 1993. But this year, Ditaji Kambundji could make history! She became the 100m Hurdles World Champion in Tokyo. Earlier this year, she was also titled the European 60m Hurdles Indoor Champion and record holder, thanks to her 7.67s performance. Adding the World 60m Indoor silver medal to that proves that she has truly had a year to remember. And now she is in contention to win this historic award too!
