Reigning Olympic 1500m silver medalist, Josh Kerr just made a young runner’s day! He recently surprised an athlete with a golden ticket to the Brooks XC Championships. Caden Leonard has 3 straight Texas state XC titles and now, thanks to Kerr, he automatically qualifies to the Brooks event without having to worry about qualification. Well, this is a great initiative toward the future of track and field, especially for cross country running with pros like Kerr helping pave the way for some great talent.
