Now, everyone is talking about the one-day format for all rounds of the women’s 100m at the LA Olympics. It has multiple reasons. The World Athletics rule change has come after decades. However, there’s another major update to the schedule. For the first time in Olympic history, athletics will span the entire Games, starting on day one and continuing through to the final day.
