This Teen Just Created a WORLD RECORD!

Folks, you cannot miss this story… Just imagine being a 13-year-old with 3 world records? Yeah, that's Camryn Dailey for you! And she just added another win this weekend, at the New Brooks PR Junior Invitational. On Sunday, Dailey ran 400 meters in 51.67 to become the first middle schooler in history to break 52s....Here, watch her create a 400m world record, while others in the field couldn't even go sub-53s.

Dailey is just in the 7th grade, but you just saw, she's fast enough to put off the pros. And now she holds the middle school national record in 400m. For more perspective, let's look at it like this: Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone ran a 51.87 as a senior in high school. Whereas, veterans like Aaliyah Butler and Athing Mu were all around 52 seconds flat in high school. However, Camryn is faster than them are at the same age, but she isn’t doing it all on her own…

Post the race, Camryn said, "Honestly, the race today was amazing. I did exactly what my coach wanted me to...." This wasn't just her lucky day! After all, she also owns the age-13 world record in the 100m at 11.37, created on April 27, at the Virginia Pride Spring Kick Off. She is also the US #1 in 200m after having run 22.90s in May at the Ken Roberts Elite Meet. This sort of diversity is just crazy! And this isn’t it!

The girl ran 24.11s at Greensboro last year to become the reigning 13-year-old AAU Junior Olympic champ in the 200m. Watch a glimpse of that win here! Clearly, she's among the winners who are preparing for the BIG RACES!

New Teen Forces Take Down Legends!

Every champion meets their match, and this weekend, John B. Todd Stadium witnessed it! During the VHSL Class 6 State Championships, two of America's favorites, Noah Lyles and Grant Holloway, had their records taken down by two talented youngsters.....

A junior, Josh Johnson of Freedom High blasted out in the 100m, blowing up the decade-old record set by Noah Lyles, while he was at T.C. Williams. Johnson’s time of 10.39 seconds eclipsed Lyles’ mark of 10.47 set in 2015, and just like that, a new meet record was born! “I’m just blessed — that’s it,” an exhausted Johnson said after he wiped the record of the world's fastest man. Watch Joshua’s crazy run below!

But this wasn't it, as a new era began in the 110-meter hurdles, too! Gar-Field's standout Joshua Kai-Smith won his race in 13.39 seconds, to break the Class 6 state meet record of 13.61 set by Grant Holloway 11 years ago. But Kai-Smith is clearly not done yet, as he warned, "Expect more." However, there’s a lot to admire about these 2 young boys!

Kai-Smith doubled down by also winning the 300m hurdles at the same event. Also, 9 weeks ago, he ran his 13.42s season opener and broke a 41-year-old meet record. Josh Johnson, meanwhile, is a true jack of all trades. He used to throw the 16-pound shot put with a PR: 26' 11.5" from 2022. He's also an NFL player for Virginia State varsity football (ranked 114th in the state). And was also added to Freedom High’s basketball roster in 2023-24. Well, we can safely say both of these boys are here to STAY!
