Track fans might be in for a bummer because reportedly Cole Hocker and Grant Fisher are not planning to compete at the 2026 World Athletics Cross Country Championships. Hocker’s agent called the schedule a ‘tight turnaround’ while Fisher’s coach said it’s not a priority for him. But there’s also chatter that Fisher’s fierce competitor, Morgan McDonald, is showing up. He is the 2018 NCAA Cross Country Champ who beat Fisher for this title by 0.5s! So Fisher’s absence in this case is a point of discussion!
