Meanwhile, some good news from the field. Mykolas Alekna’s 75.56m discus throw world record has just been ratified. Back at the Oklahoma Throws Series World Invitational in Ramona, Alekna had thrown a massive 75.56m in round four. That mark from April 13 is now officially in the books. And not just him. World records set by two other athletes, Beatrice Chebet (5000m) and Mondo Duplantis (pole vault) have been ratified too!
