Track Heckler Targets Gabby Thomas!

Something very alarming took place at Grand Slam Track Philly last weekend! While Gabby Thomas lost both her races, she had to go through another disturbing incident. Shockingly, the 200m Olympic champ, while signing autographs, got heckled by a man at GST, who tailed her around and shouted insults at her. Following the incident, Gabby took to social media and labeled his behavior “wild” and called him “A weirdo.” But this wasn't the end of it. What he did next was unbelievable....
The man revealed himself online and continued to boast: "I made Gabby lose by heckling her. And it made my parlay win." He even posted a video of himself hurling insults at Gabby as she prepared to start a race. Watch how he heckled Gabby, here! He then made things worse by posting screenshots of a betting slip, revealing he had won over $2,000 on two parlays that banked on Melissa Jefferson-Wooden beating Gabby. All this naturally didn’t sit well with Gabby. And she fired back!
Gabby wrote on social media, “Wasn’t even going to tweet about it but since he’s bragging...” She had to break her silence, and so did GST. The organizers have launched an investigation, whereas Michael Johnson has apologized sincerely: “So sorry you had to experience this, Gabby! We are working to identify the individual involved and will take appropriate action.” He made it clear: “Despicable behavior like this is will not be tolerated.” Also, GST has vowed to tighten the screws…
The franchise will put new safeguards to ensure nothing like this happens again. However, this incident unveiled the darker reality of what professional athletes face behind the scenes. And, with GST Los Angeles coming up in less than a month, let’s hope stronger fences will be put up.

The Brothers Who Raced Together!

This is a story with not one, but two heroes: Sam Faria and Daniel Faria, twins, one with cerebral palsy. But nothing is stopping them from hitting the ground, and the Massachusetts United Track and Field Championships 2025 was the proof! The brothers competed together in the 100m dash, where Sam pushed Daniel to the finish line in a wheelchair. And guess what? In seconds, the silver was theirs. Watch them win against all odds below!
Well, it wasn't easy for sure, as Daniel weighs 100 pounds and with the wheelchair, it’s 200. Thus, no wonder the brothers had different nerves. Sam, on one hand, was nervous, "I've been in so many 100m dashes over the past two months, but this one just felt different." Whereas Daniel was the composed one, he said, "Dude, why are you so nervous!" But you think it was just the track where they excelled? Think again!
The brothers also competed in the shot put in the same event. Here's how that worked: Sam would grab Daniel's hand and place it appropriately, and then he'd ask him to smile when he was ready. And once he smiled, they counted one, two, and three and threw it in a perfect sync. Their teamwork got them fourth place and all the hearts. No wonder Sam said, “We’re best friends.” He is beyond grateful to be out there doing this with his brother!

This 20-Year-Old’s Speed is Unreal!

After the weekend at the 2025 NCAA DI Outdoor Track and Field Championships, before thinking twice, we can say that Jordan Anthony is on a speeded mission to becoming a track superstar! The 20-year-old just ran a 9.75s 100m with a +2.1m/s tailwind. Yep, this heat time has now qualified him for the finals. But there’s more to it…
Well, his timings are now the second-fastest collegiate all-conditions 100m time in history! And guess what? Had it been wind legal (aka less than 2.0m/s), Jordan Anthony would have just been sitting at the top of the 2025 world rankings, as he would have been 0.11s faster than Kenny Bednarek and Abdul-Rasheed Saminu, who are currently tied on top of the table! Watch Anthony’s insane speed here!
Also, Anthony's 9.75s has been registered in books as the ninth-fastest all-conditions time in world history. And you know what’s surprising? His entry into the track! Anthony first joined college as a wide receiver and balanced both track and football, but then, when one of Tylertown's sprint athletes suffered an injury, the program's head coach moved Anthony up to fill the open slot. But Anthony still had an option!
He could have left and turned his attention to football, which he prioritized at the time. But Anthony slowly started seeing potential in his skills: "I couldn't let it go because I started improving.” Clearly, his decision is now paying off. No wonder many call him the next Erriyon Knighton! Kudos champ!

📊 POLL OF THE DAY
Do You Think Jordan Anthony Can Be the Next Erriyon Knighton? |
Last Poll Result: We asked you, “Can Kenny Bednarek Win Double Gold in 100m & 200m This Year?” Well, this is a close one! While 48.42% of you said with all the optimism, “Yes,” the rest of you seemed dicy and voted for “No,” and “Maybe.” But one among you did warn him, saying, “Field is too stacked against him.” Yes, the field is stacked, but Kenny’s form is also undeniable strong, so now it’s a wait-and-watch game…
