If there were more podiums at the NYC marathon yesterday, Kenyan athletes would have probably taken those too. Well, they were the top three finishers among both men and women. But Hellen Obiri in particular, had an extra reason to celebrate. Not only does she get to keep her title for another year, she’s now the first woman to run a sub 2:20 in NYC. And oh, that speedy course record? That’s one statement way to finish!
