Lexie Brown just did the unthinkable! This 14-year-old just ran in the Women’s 200m T47 heats at the World Athletics Para Champs and clocked 26.87s to place 15th. Although she missed the finals by just 0.14s, but setting a PB at her first-ever Worlds as a teenager is not something you see every day! A little bit on her, Lexie is a lower-arm amputee and was encouraged to participate in sports by her primary school sports teacher. She first started competing in athletics at the age of 7, and look at her now, representing Australia!
