Did You Know

Did you know that the men’s 800m final at the NACAC Championships delivered a rare track moment? Yes, it did. Handal Roban of Saint Vincent & lit up the track, storming to victory in 1:42.87, smashing his national record and setting a NACAC record, too. But the drama didn’t end there. Just behind him, Jamaica’s Tyrice Taylor snatched bronze in 1:43.74, shattering Jamaica’s national record and punching his ticket to Tokyo with a Worlds standard time. So that's two athletes breaking two national records, in the same race. Wow!
