A world record was set on the track right after the Tokyo World Athletics Championships, and this time by a Japanese man. Ryusei Yonee broke the record for the fastest 100-meter run on all fours, beating American Collin McClure’s 2022 time of 15.66 seconds. So why did he do it? Well, Yonee wanted to become the fastest human on all fours. And to prepare, he studied how animals like dogs, cats, and monkeys run, then trained on sand before taking it to the track.
