As you read above, Sydney just broke Sanya Richards-Ross’ American record and with that she has started showing signs of her domination in the 400m flat event. But it wont be easy in the finals, as she’s yet to face the two favorites of the event. So tell us,

History was made in the men’s Hammer Throw final today! Ethan Katzberg won gold with a massive 84.70m throw, setting a Championship and a Canadian record. Katzberg now has the 2023 Worlds gold, the 2024 Olympics gold, and now the 2025 Worlds gold again. Also, his win with Camryn Rogers' from yesterday now makes Canada the first country ever to win back-to-back Olympic and World titles in both men’s and women’s hammer. That's 'Golden Reign' quite literally!


The men’s 110m Hurdles event on Day 4 had a lot of dramatic turns. First, Sasha Zhoya had to pull out of the semis last minute with a hamstring injury, which opened the door for Japan’s Shunsuke Izumiya who had been eliminated from the heats a day ago. Izumiya was at home when he suddenly got the call and rushed to the stadium. But in the semis heat 1, he sadly clipped the fourth hurdle and fell. Watch the moment that left him to finish 8th below…
