As you read above, Femke Bol and Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone were announced the finalists of the female track athlete of the year. But not everyone seemed happy about the call, given that stars like Faith Kipyegon, Beatrice Chebet, and Melissa Jefferson-Wooden were in the running too. So tell us,

The female track athlete of the year announcement sparked a debate, but it’s now time to pick one among the male finalists! And this one’s between Noah Lyles and Emmanuel Wanyonyi. Lyles has had a season full of ups and downs, wherein he had a tendon injury and lost his 100m World title to Seville. But on the upside, he dominated the US champs and the Worlds 200m. Meanwhile, Wanyonyi took home both the Diamond League title and the World title in the 800m this year. So believe it or not, this one’s equally tough!
